This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell CPx H internal power issue

    I ordered a replacement external power supply for my Dell CPx H and it lasted only briefly, so after much hassles Dell replaced but after a few months the laptop now no longer shows any signs of life. [xx(] So, thinking that the replacement power adapter was faulty, I replaced it again and that is not the issue. Must be something internal. Anybody have any technical experience to share on how to troubleshoot and repair? Any suggested parts sources?
