    Hello guys,

I would appreciate some help with upgrade options. My only experience thus far with upgrades have been on desktops with socket A's.
However my first laptop is a Dell inspiron 1300 with a woeful 1.4Ghz Celleron M.
It would seem Dell don't like to assist DIY'ers and I'm finding reference material for appropriate upgrades difficult to come by.
Can anyone assist in helping me find a definitive upgrade compatability list or actually respond with one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I belive that your notebook has a Socket 479 for Intel mobile CPUs.

You can just buy your self a Pentium-M for your notebook to beef it up. Its pretty much available everywhere online.
