Just got my i6kd and was running CPUID to check out the stats and noticed that the Core Speed was fluctuating. My friend got the Acer TM8104 and his Core Speed is steady. I remember seeing an Intel SpeedStep app on some other notebooks, but mine didn't. Is there another way to control the throttling of your CPU? I want to disable throttling if possible.

    TIA
