This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just courious, I got the Windows MCE CD when I purchased my laptop from Dell. Can I install Win MCE in another computer (my desktop) with the Dell CD? Will I be able to validate the software on Microsoft site?

    You can only use the discs on Dell laptops, and they all have license agreements, so you are limited on what you can install it on.
