Just courious, I got the Windows MCE CD when I purchased my laptop from Dell. Can I install Win MCE in another computer (my desktop) with the Dell CD? Will I be able to validate the software on Microsoft site?

    Thanks.

Is it because it can only be installed on one machine?

You can only use the discs on Dell laptops, and they all have license agreements, so you are limited on what you can install it on.
