I have read off many of the forums saying that there has been problems with the blue tooth after a short period.

People have been saying that the blue tooth just disconnects and won't find your device until you have done a reboot. Updating and reinstalling drivers doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone else had these problems and is there a way around it?

Is it worth getting a blue tooth mouse (logitech v470)?

I have been using BT mice (Logitech V270, V470, and MS 5000) with my Vostro 1500, Inspiron 500M, and Macbook since many months without any problem. Even playing games with MS 5000 and V270 is fine. No problems to report here other than the incompatibility of MS 5000 with Wireless 355 on Vostro 1500 which I had reported the solution here. My favorite is white V470 which I use with the Macbook. Its ergonomics and feeling is better than the others.

Will the logitech v470 work fine with the blue tooth 355 module?

I just tested for you; V470 works with my Vostro 1500 which runs Windows XP and original MS BT stack. I remember that V270 worked with the WIDCOMM stack (Dell drivers) mithout any problems before I switched to MS stack. I am not sure if someone will chime in with first-hand experience but I think V470 should also work with WIDCOMM stack.

I love my black Razer Pro-Click bluetooth mouse! It's almost like a gaming mouse for a notebook. I have been using it with my Vostro 1500 flawlessly. Grant it, it's only been a couple of weeks, but it's been no problem.
