    Hey

Has anyone tried installing the new Dell Bios 8 which says it fixes the touchpad problem?

Since I installed it my scroll on the touchpad will not go side to side.

It goes up and down but thats it.

Has anyone else had problems with the side to side scrolling?

    Thanks

    Never mind

The side to side scroll does not work with firefox, it only works with IE7

Just tested and it works fine with IE7 but opened Firefox and it does not scroll.

    Wierd Eh!

This new version of Firefox is becoming a pain in the ass, I have noticed so many problems with this dell and Firefox.

Might go with IE7 again...... OMG I cant belive I just said that.

Bios are machine specific. Saying try the A08 bios doesn't mean anything unless you say what machine it is for. There are hundreds of dell A08 bios out there that are all different.

I dont think it was the Bios upgrade, I just probalbly never noticed it before.

Since the m1530 is a wide screen it is very rare that I would use the side to side.

Must just be the internet, just checked email, and the scroll works,

    it is deff firefox problem
