If dell covers the battery for 1 year, get it changed, but some manufactures only cover battery for 6 months.

    Hi.

your wear level should be 10% or under in the first year, unless you have really hammered it!

You should really get a replacment when a battery reaches 50% wear

dell states a battery should last at least 18 months

I had a battery that went from 0% to 15% in less than a week, only 4 discharge cycles, I sent it back and got a replacement

I suggest you get in contact with DELL tomorrow and get a replacement!

76% wear means your battery is pretty much dead.. It has lost 76% of its original capacity.. I think Dell covers batteries for a year..
