Hey all, I ordered a dell XPS m1530 on 6/6/08 and the ESD was around 7/2/08. However, I just recieved confirmation that the order has been shipped on 6/12/08.
Does this mean that the dell battery shortage is ending, or did they just get another shipment of batteries??
Laptop Ordered:

6 Cell Battery

All for $1220 shipped.

why does it matter~
YOUR GETTING YOURS EARLY -
Dell's system is weird. If one part is delayed, they don't hold your other parts. In order for you to get built, all parts must be in stock at the same time.
Awesome that you got such a short build time. -
I just contacted dell automated thingy & my order just changed from build stage to boxing stage ^.^... hopefully it ships out tomm~

Usually takes 2 - 4 days after boxing to ship.
It needs to fly from Malaysia to the US, then get re-boxed, then get picked up by the carrier. -
live in Florida so hopefully they choose a different build location~
kindof went of topic however there really isn't a 100% answer to it so -
They build them all in Malaysia.
