My battery wear level is now 2% after about 2 months and I've only recharge n discharge it about 7 or 8 times , is that normal?

I've always charge my battery after it falls to 1% ,is that the correct way to do it?
cause I've heard that rechargable battery must be emptied before recharge if not it'll ruin the battery life

if you charge it 100 percent and at that temperature in a year it loses about 35 percent charge. If you do charge it a hundred percent use it to get it around 40% and in about a year you will only lose 15% because at the temp you are at it loses more charge.

the temperature i mentioned is when I use it to play games , I always charge my laptop while it is OFF so technically there's no heat at all

This is interesting, I just asked this in another post earlier last week: What's the best way to charge the battery? when the computer is off?

Also: I'm getting mixed results on new batteries: I have a d620 arriving tomorrow, should I charge the battery once for 7 hours (on or off?) or start using the PC right away?

When I first receive my E1505 I use my battery until 1% then I recharge but now I'm confused by this issues and if I don't figure out the right way to solve it my battery is going to be useless in 2 years (wear level 50%=minus 1.5 hours of battery life)

what i find to work is charge my battery and blow a fan at it because when you charge the battery the battery gets hot. When the battery is not being used get the percent down to 40 and put it by a van or a cooling vent so that its temp is low

Nope ,I've tried it myself. When the battery is charged it doesn't produce any heat so it doesn't make sense if the battery gets "hot"

Here's a good read on lithium batteries: http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm

Don't deliberately do deep discharges other than to recalibrate the fuel gauge. 2% after two months is very normal if you leave the battery in your notebook. Lithium-ion batteries have shelf lives, even if you don't used the battery it'll deteriorate.
