    I just noticed that on the Dell i6000, there is an external battery life indicator on it; as I already knew existed on the Latitude D620.

    Do all Dells have this battery life indicator? That is pretty ingenious. It beats thinking you can carry a spare and finding out it is dead.

    Im pretty sure all Dell laptops have this

    My dinosaur Inspiron 8600 has it...and all the new models have it also

    And many units are starting to get the built-in WiFi searcher too. Dell's doing well to add nice features like this.

    I think pretty much all laptops have a batt indicator; My ancient compaq even has one.
