My daughter bought an Dell Inspiron B120 for my grandson on 12/05. Anyone venture a guess as to whether it would have come with recovery disks or not. She can't find them if it did and I can't find anything on the hard drive to make them. Thanks for any info.

Hello,
My sister have the B130 (15.4"). If your daughter didnt purchase the XP CD, then yes, you should have the recovery disks. When I ordered for her on Spring 2006, there were options whateither do I want a recovery disks (free) or XP CD $10 (I choose this one).

Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
as coverd on these forums many many times, call dell and ask for your software cd's, they will send them quickly and free of charge,OS, drivers, apps, blaotware, etc. As for recovery, I would think it would have a recovery partition on the hard drive, I know all the inspirons and xps's have them

Thanks for the reply NetBraker and Iceman0124. She still is unable to find it so I will just have her call Dell.

Edit. This comp. has no second partition. If a recovery creator is here I sure can't find it.
