    Sure...depends on how badly damaged it is.

    It also depends on what you want to do on the laptop.

    just basic surfing and word processing maybe watch a movie or listen to music

    I am unsure of the damage, its a dell outlet scratch and dented so i imagine it would be ok, I'm not sure, any ideas?

    If it's from the outlet and they give you a warranty I don't see any problems with buying it.

    I agree with Jimmi,..if you buy it from Dell they will give a waurantee and make sure it works properly.
