    Heya,

I was just talking to a dell rep online and when i asked him a question in relation to the studio 15, they mentioned that they were phasing them out for the xps 15?

I was asking him that when i was building a Studio 15 on the dell.com.au website, i changed the processor to i7 and it mentioned that i needed a 1gb graphics card. However there was only one option available for the 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 545v.

Was this guy just totally wrong or are they going to replace the studio 15 with the xps?

    Anyone else heard anything?

It has now been confirmed by a Dell employee that the new XPS 15 and 17 are, in fact, the replacements for the Studio 15 and 17, not the current Studio XPS line. The new XPS is the new Dell mid-range line of laptops. They will be released by the end of the month, still rumored as 21 Oct for an exact date.
