I have an m1210 and I have had previous problems that had Dell replace my motherboard. One of these problems were extreme overheating (90 degrees celcius plus). Now I have been experiencing rather slow and laggy gfx when playing games and also when starting up. Some may say it is barely noticeable, but I personally notice it pretty clearly. Seeing as their overheating probably caused damage to my CPU and GPU how would I say this to them that they would replace those components too? Thanks

Well, first read the Cooling Guide and see if cleaning helps.
After that, just call them and tell them what the problem is. You don't need to get into specifics on dust and heat build up...just tell them the notebook is messing up and you think because it is very hot and let them work on it. -
They have already replaced the HSF, and the overheating has been fixed. I'm looking for advice on convincing them to replace the cpu and gpu.

Did they change the hard disk, or any other component? Theoretically, an identical motherboard replacement shouldnt screw-up the OS (drivers etc.), but to be sure you can try doing a clean installation of Windows. -
CPUs and GPUs can be affected by what is called cyclic loading. This is especially accelerated if the temperature has gotten as high as 100 degrees celcius. I've had several machines that have slowed down considerably (not due to HD performance) over the years because of such wear and tear. I have a noticeable 30 fps drop in performance within the past 6 months. And I have reformatted before as well. The mobo replacement didn't do anything negative.

Best advice is to go up the chain of command over at Dell until you are happy with their answer.
Tell them you are pretty positive that it is a CPU/GPU issue. Be persistent and don't let them walk all over you. -
What can I say to "move up the chain of command"?

You keep asking for that person's supervisor...and eventually you move up that ladder.
