Saw this over @ ifixit and thought some of you might be interested.

They basically take it completely apart. Very interesting with lots of photos. I was surprised to learn the battery can't be replaced by the user. Ouch.

    Have a look.

The adamo seems less beautiful than the macbook when ripped apart.

There is an Apple forum for your circle jerk. This is the Dell forum. You must be lost.

He was just making an observation. Don't be a jerk.
I also happen to agree. Apple has a knack for making beautiful internal layouts in there products.

Say what you want, I'm just glad I have a computer that I've never been dissatisfied with. I've never gotten the kind of quality from a PC that I get from a Mac. They're not without their flaws, but they're better than any PC's I've had. Let's not turn this topic in to a debate on Apple vs. Dell though. This topic is about the insides of the Adamo.

Speaking of which, the inside layout of the Adamo is a fantastic use of space, even if it isn't quite as nice to look at as the MBA.

This is retarded. Why would anyone even care how aesthetically appealing the inside of a laptop is?

I mean, holy $hit, I can't decide if Megan Fox or Scarlett Johansson is hotter, let's cut them apart and see who's prettier on the inside with their rib cage ripped out.

Those who will buy Adamos won't be interested in opening the laptop - why would anyone in their right mind want to see that array of mediocre components...

My PC could be the ugliest thing on Earth. But if it is cheap and outproduces other computers I would buy it in a heart beat.

The Adamos are for luxury folks who want to show off. They want an expensive purse with some cursed symbol on the front to advertise "Hey I have money to spend." I'm surprised it doesn't have a pouch to put a little dog in it.

I'd spend 1K less on a PC and then use that money to buy a 1K suit. That seems more practical to me.

It's not so much that I particularly care about the inside of a computer, but a computer that looks good on the inside speaks for its engineering.

Internal aesthetics don't speak fecal matter about the engineering - that's a pile of b/s. A computer that efficiently uses its internal space speaks for its engineering (and you admitted that the Adamo is "fantastic" in that respect).

    Aesthetics are irrelevant.
