I have a 9300 Inspiron and I replaced the harddrive and the harddrive was unformatted. I thought that all l have to do is boot to the CD drive with Windows XP in the CD drive and do an install. When the 9300 boots up I hit the f12 and then select boot from the CD drive but then that is as far as it goes what am i doing wrong?
