Hello all. Nice forum you've got here. I just bought a Dell 9100 on Ebay (item # 6743351192) It has a ATI 9700 128 video card. My question is will this have a DVI output so I can use it with a Viewsonic LCD (VP201B) The LCD is 20" with a resolution of 1600x1200. Is this video card good enough to get the most out of the LCD. I haven't been a gamer but I plan on getting into it. Please share any thoughts on this setup or the specs on the Dell. The seller has told me there are upgrades available. Any suggestions? Thanks a ton.

As far as I know it is built on the same case as the XPS, and the XPS offers the same video card, and also the pics of the XPS on Dell's website show a DVI output, so yes, I think it should have a DVI output. Also, I think that when the 9100 still was around, it was upgradable to the Mobility Radeon 9800, just like the XPS, so I guess you could upgrade to the MR9800.
