Ok, so I've been using the laptop2go drivers and I am unsatisfied with their performance so I'm hoping that the stock drivers will give me better performance in an older game (morrowind). The problem is when I went to dell's site to see if I could download the driver from there. It shows that they only have drivers for the 8400M's. Where's the 8600M GT drivers?

    Thanks,
    -Taylor

i think all nvidia graphic chips use the same driver, the 8400M driver from dell should work with your 8600

Morrowind was horribly coded, it wont run flawlessly on any system.

DELL drivers are nothing but nVidia drivers released once in a while with some features removed (due to compatibility or other reasons). Therefore generally, they are older, slower and have fewer features than laptopvideo2go moded nVidia drives.
