Just wondering if you 8600 owners can answer this for me. I was thinking of purchasing one but wanted to know if it's possible to play video playback(dvd, mpg, etc.) and see the video on both the laptop and TV simultaneously? I tried this using an HP zt3000 and it wouldn't allow me to do this. The video window would either show on TV OR the laptop screen, the other would just be a blank/black window. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tom,

I have no problem on mine displaying on both the screen and TV at the same time. I've only hooked it up once now very quickly (am in the middle of exams so have no time to watch DVD's!), and the image was on both LCD monitor and TV, and in fact I wasn't sure how to make it work on ONLY the TV. I'm sure there's a way, but I haven't played enough with it....
