Recently got myself a 1080p monitor to go with my Dell 7720 (i7, 8GB RAM, GT650M). All works fine untill I launch a game. Then the monitor will switch from 1080p to 1080i, causing a vibrating screen image. Playing the game in windowed mode fixes the issue, however I'd prefer to play on true fullscreen. I assume this has something to do with Optimus, does anyone know how to fix it?

    Hi Bass50,

I suggest you to update the grahics drivers from the following link by puching in the Service Tag:
Support for Home | Dell US

You will need to set the resolution to 1080p settings supported by the monitor using NVIDIA Control Panel and check if the display works properly. Please follow the steps provided below:
    1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
    2. Click on the "+" mark next to Display and select "Change resolution".
    3. Select the display and the appropriate resolution from the drop down list.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
