I have one of these laptops here. Works very well running at 2ghz with 4 gigs of ram. I want to upgrade the HDD. I took off the cover of the HDD and it says 5400 ATA/IDE drive.

Question is this: Can I install a SATA II or an SATA drive? If not what kind of drive can I use?

    How about this one

    Or this one

    Thanks for your time.

Are you sure you have 4 GB of RAM? As far as I know, that computer's chipset only supports up to 2GB.
If you do have that computer, you can upgrade to any of these drives, however, I would recommend this one.
