    Hi,

I just purchased a 700m and had a few questions about memory upgrades.

    1) Can I add a 1GB stick to the extra slot which I will be using the 256MB RAM with? Will different CAS latency cause problems?

    2) Will paying the extra money for RAM with CAS timings of 2-2-5 be overkill for the 700m?

Thanks for all your input. :D

You can run different sizes in the differnt slots. I have a 512MB and 1GB sticks in my T42. I'd get the cheapest one from a reliable brand and wouldn't worry about the other stuff.
