    Dell 700m Optical drives

    Just got a new dell 700m.

    Need to know if there are any hard disk optical drives out there...... might wanna replace the dvd combo with a 200gb hard disk or sumthing

    I don't think those exist, or if they do, they are very hard to find and won't have that large of a capacity. Its a good idea though.

    I don't think they make a modular hard drive for the 700m. Or even better if they make a kit so you could place your drive in it. Could ask Dell, they'll know for sure. 120GB is as high as notebook drives go at the moment.
