Well, I've got an issue here I can't resolve. My wife let my 5yr old daughter use my laptop. While it's old, it has been very good. Well, of course, she dropped it. The computer works fine, it just has a blue screen. Meaning everything is blue. I can see all the programs, they are just in different shades of blue. It's almost like it is in Black and White, but blue. Any ideas here? I thought perhaps it was a setting of some sort. Please help!!

    Thanks

Sounds to me like your video signal cable got jarred loose. Here is the 700m service manual, look at the "Hinge Cover and Display Module" section and see if you can reseat those cables. If that doesn't help, there might be some permanent damage in some of the wiring.

    Best of luck,

I agree with Hep, it sounds like the video signal cable is loose. The same thing happens if the VGA cable of an external monitor isn't plugged in all the way. The only way to fix that would be to manually go into the laptop and fix the cables.
    Good luck!
