Thanks for linking that, I just dealt with the same stuff, and I just returned my 640m/e1405 for the exact same reason.
The rep did NOT seem surprised at all when I ran off the symptoms to him, and authorized a courier pickup quickly. Probably not an uncommon occurence.
When did Dell's QA get so lackluster? I seem to recall them being real sticklers on this stuff years back... -
