I have the 15.4" widescreen and wanted to know why widescreen DVDs are not taking up the whole screen. I use PowerDVD to view the movies. Am I missing a setting?

Hmmmm...do you mean that you still have black bars on the top and bottom because the aspect ratio of widescreen laptops is 16x10, not 16x9 or 2.35:1 as in most major motion pictures. You should be able to find some settings to "zoom" in on the picture till it fits the screen, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It shows the wideaspect ratio and comes in widescreen format. If it is standard the black bars are on the sides instead. You can just change the size of the window by pushing "Z". I don't know of any way to remove the black bars.
