    Dell 5370 BIOS Update 1.8.2

    Just a heads up as yesterday installed Dell's latest BIOS 1.8.2 which was released 18 July and my WiFi stopped working after that. I tried everything to fix the issue, including reinstalling the drivers etc but I ended up flashing back to the previous BIOS.

    Every machine may be different, but I won't be updating the BIOS again for a while and am lucky I had my other laptop with me so I could download the old BIOS and reinstall that.

    Anyone else have an issue with this new BIOS?

    My 5368 took the bios update no issue, and it made a nice difference in speed and battery life. I would actually try it again as something could have just messed up during the install.

    Thanks for sharing. I will give it another try but I did just notice that the update has been removed from the download page of Dell's website but is still available through Dell's Support and Assist app.

    Hmmm maybe it had a bug. Wait a few weeks and look again.
