    Hello,

I've been hearing a lot about the Dell 4th of July Sales. How different are they from the Dell Coupons? Do you save much more? I'm thinking of using the $750 off Coupon but if the 4th of July Sales are much better I can wait. Thanks in advance.

    Justin.

Usually it is hard to tell. Dell is normally not predicatble in what sales they are going to post. Right now they are offering a 30% off for home customers and that is without the coupon. If they dont' have any good deals out on July 4th, then they'll probably have something good around "Back To School" Days.

I'm considering the E1505 - I don't see the 30% off without a coupon, but I see $200 or $300 off, and it was 20% off yesterday. (Was 30% off with coupon both yesterday and today).

Questions - The coupons normally come out at 7:00 A.M. Thursday's. Does this mean the 4th of July specials will come out on Thursday the 29th, or not necessarily?

Also, how often do the base prices fluctuate and is there any rhyme or reason to when/how they vary?

They must have changed it. I think it was yesterday that it was 30% off a certain price, but not 100%. I'm not sure about the July 4th. Dell generally issues coupons for a week or two weeks. Normally they are posted at 7am because that is when they go into effect.

My guess is that dell will issue a coupon for the week of July 4th for a certain amount off which will be active all during the week. Then they will take off/discount a certain price on their website - but these are not combinable with each other. So you'll have to use one or othe other.

The prices fluctuate based on the market demand. If dell is heavily stocked with Inspirons, the prices will be cut. If there is a shortage, then prices will rise. This can happen overnight, over a week, - basically anytime that dell wants to change it, they'll change it. There is not consistancy with them on prices.

    Your welcome.

Its not for certain that dell is going to do that, but that would be my guess. If they offer any "special discounts" it will be near or on July 4th.

Any updates on the sale, though? I'm kind of expecting to hear something soon.

Yeah 10:00 EST and nothing new on the dell website...maybe we have to wait for back to school for the big deals? I can see them not doing anything for the 4th because they just launched their new line and all.

Yeah I don't think Dell is gonna have any 4th of July sales because their new line are already doing great in sales.

end of the month. apparenlty my build time is about 1 month, they can only guarantee that they will ship it within thirty days so I'm thinking end of July would be a good time.
