    What do you guys reckon?

    1) The 3110 or the 1420?
    2) LED Screen if the 3110 or no LED screen (positives/negatives on each account)?
    3) Intel 3100 versus the nVidia 8400M GS? I really shouldn't be playing games, since being a student battery life ought to be the most important for me, but I want my cake and eat it too. I have a Toshiba M71 - FE5 with a discrete ATI X700 with 256MB of RAM and the power drain on the battery is atrocious...ATROCIOUS. Can I expect similar results with another discrete GPU even though it's not a high class one like the X700 was relative to when I purchased my Toshiba? I've heard the 8M series has some neat power saving protocols that ought to save watts. Any truth?

Thanks for all your time guys!!!!
