    Hey guys,

Just recently purchased a dell u.k outlet laptop with an externded next business day warranty for 3 years.

Just wanted to ask if anyone had taken one out with their dell outlet purchase and whether they had received any documentation with the laptop or via email from Dell.

I ask this as I have not and upon requesting such info, have been fobbed around by dell customer service, not very happy :S

    You don't get documentation.

    Go here.

It's the 'Warranty Status' page on Dell's site. It will show your warranty type and end date. 3 year warranties show as 1 year and a 2 year extended.

^The Dell may have a UK link for the same page. Basically your looking for the "Warranty Status" page on the "Dell Support" site.

coool thanks, just found the u.k equivalent that looks exactly the same. with my service tag entered it shows up with 'There are no service contracts or warranties associated with this system.'

soo therefore it should really show up with what I have purchased i.e the 3 year extended nbd warranty right?

Yeah. You need to call Dell. I'd actually suggest Dell Chat...its much better.
