Hi, I have a dell 1737 which I have owned for 18months now. Just after the warrantee ran out the hinge broke on the wifi side. Dell refused to fix, unless I paid £300. I refused and got onto trading standards, but after 4 months of dell saying that its my fault and refusing to fix, I have given up and decided to fix it myself. I have worked out this morning that I need the back cover, front bezel, hinges and power lead, as this has been severed at some point. My questoin is does anybody have any idea where I can buy these parts. I have had a mooch on ebay, but they want at least £60 for the back cover. I am unfortunately unable to afford this at the moment! Also could you tell me if the parts are used on any other laptops? I think the 1737 is the same, but not 100%. Thanks for your help, Becky.
