    Hi There,

Does anyone know if this screen would be compatible with a Dell Studio 1737, even though mine just has the WXGA+ screen? Mine has been cracked and someone is selling one new on eBay for £86.99 which is a decent price.

    Thanks

    Jonski

The 1735 and 1737 displays are fully compatible with each other, regardless of resolution.

    For sure. ;)

The only hitch you might run into is if you're replacing a CCFL display with LED or vice-versa, since CCFL backlights use inverters, while LED's do not. If you're going from CCFL to CCFL or LED to LED, though, you should be just fine.

Also, you'll have fun with that WUXGA resolution. 17" laptops were made for 1920x1200. :)
