I have the matte 1440x900 screen, and bought this laptop back in august last year. I was wondering if anyone knew who makes the screen, and what it's specs were beyond resolution?

For the model open Device Manager, go to Monitors and then Generic PnP Monitor. Go to the Details tab and select Hardware Ids from the list, and the model name will be displayed (which can be used to determine the maker as well, for example a SEC#### would be by Samsung, a CMO would be by Chi Mei, etc.)
