    Hi!

About 2 weeks ago I got a 1720 from Dell with a WUXGA 1920X1200 screen.

Unfortunately for me, the screen is "grainy" "sparkling". It's a Samsung 3155

Has anybody else had this problem?

Does Dell offer screens built by another manufacturer such as LG?

I really hate mine and don't want to go through the trouble of having it replaced if there is no fix for this.

    Thanks!

It's not sparkly. The color and brightness is a bit uneven though.

shp panels are almost always killer lcd's im shocked if that panel has issues. i LOVE THE SHP panels that toshiba uses. cant say they are the same as whats on yours though. imo lg and sharp would def be the top 2 for that system imo
