I decided to reformat my notebook for the first time and regretting it right now. I keep getting these red pixels that eppear on the screen. They go away as I type and and move my mouse over them. I have all of my drivers updated to the latest. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Sounds like you might have a bad screen, probably unrelated to the reformat.

There will be some dots on the screen and when i move my mouse towards them, they will go away and appear somewhere else on the screen.

The screen shot was generated with print screen. Such a function would not have caught the red pixels if it was a monitor hardware error. Maybe the video card is a better bet.
