Okay so a relative left me a Inspiron 1705 at my house over the weekend so I could restore the OS. Well she had been complaining about the computer getting really hot. As this is her first computer ever, I thought she just didn't know that laptops get warm. Well I downloaded speedfan onto it to monitor the fans and temps. The laptop got all the way up to 92c and only one fan turned on. I'm not sure if there are really three fans i'm just going by what it says in speedfan. well the other two never turned on. What are my relatives options. Is there some kind of software or update that cold fix this. According to my relative the laptop as always gotten extremly hot. Do I have to have it looked at by a professional? Thanks in advance.
