This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     A repost, sorry, about user opinions of the Dell 17” matte XGA+ screen. I choose this screen for the faster frame rates so you know where I’m coming from. ;)

    I have read a couple of posts that report “banding” depending where you look on the screen. A slight light bleed or slightly uneven lighting I can and do live with. I’m not supper picky but draw the line at screen noise and some types of distortions.

    I would like to hear from the 17” XGA+ owners out there on your opinions of this particular screen. Searches brings up too many glossy screen reports.
