    I am about to purchase a Dell notebook for just e-mail and some work from work and burning cd's. I was looking at this site for awhile and am wondering if Dell is ever going to have a 17" notebook and if so when?

    Abaxter, I've been wondering about this. Why does dell release this secret information if they do not want you to allow others to benefit from it? Is it just a perk to know whats around the corner?

    I have been waiting for this notebook ever since you posted that they were coming out with it a few months ago. Can you at least tell if it will be by month end, or year end, or any time frame?

    I too have been watching and waiting for news of the new Dell av 17" notebook and as the rumors and news leaks suggest that it will "happen" soon I was wondering if anyone had heard any more news. I am starting to wonder whether it is worth waiting for (perhaps there are problems with production).
