    Dell 1545 no drivers help?

    reinstalled my friends laptop with the original windows vista when i turn it on and load it up i have no drivers on the laptop tried taking the drivers off the website and the loaded them onto ta thump drivers but they didnt work. Does anyone have any idea what to do? or cold it be a bad copy of windows vista?

    you really just need the network driver or wireless driver first.

    You can try a manual install by selecting update driver from the > control panel > Device Manager option and point to the folder with the driver files.

    if you can get online from there you can connect the laptop directly to dells support site and download the remaining drivers.
