I need some help with my Dell Inspiron 1525. When I put any disk (CD or DVD) in the CD/DVD drive, Windows (Vista) fails to recognize anything is in the drive. I do not know what to do to fix this problem. So far I have disabled/re-enabled the device and updated the driver. Both gave no results. What do you suggest I do next?

Can you boot from the drive if you load a bootable disk (ie Windows install disk)?
