    Dell 1520s CRIPPLED today in Canada

    All the 'discount' configurations have been nerfed, with the T7100 being the best processor possible for those base configurations

    T7500 still available if you start with the fully customizable base config, but the price has been jacked up like crazy
    vostro's the only way to go now for Canucks

    I ordered my Vostro 1500 last night cuz it was still the better buy compared to the Inspiron 1520.

    Everything depends on supply and demand. Prices fluctuate in response to these issues. If you can wait, prices will drop again.

    Ordered my Vostro 1500 two days ago. It was still cheaper then the Inspiron back then.

    Angers me how our dollar is almost the same as the States now, yet our prices are so much higher and we don't have access to the 325 dollar coupon. :(

    Yes it seems as if the US prices are the same here, my present lappy config cost me $1300 but I did it again today and it comes out to $1800, both after tax which is around $100. What BS. Lucky I ordered it before they jack the prices up.
