I have the 1520. 1680x1050 resolution. Glossy (I hate glossy, but matte wasn't available) screen.

Running XP (system runs so much better now).

Video drivers were at 6.14.10.4831. Screen quality was great.

Today, I upgraded to A05/6.14.10.4885. Rebooted. The desktop looked great for about 2 seconds and then everything went blurry.

For example, the text 'My Computer' went from being clear white letters to washed out/blurry.

I can reboot. Login happens automatically. And again, it looks great for about 2 seconds and then it happens again.

I've ensured that the video drivers are set to the native resolution/32 bit colors, etc.

I've adjusted ClearType on/off; it is bad either way.

I went back to the old video drivers and now everything is clear again.

What's going on? Has anyone reported this, previous?
