Hey all,
Ive been looking at this site http://dell.skinit.com/skins/ and found some skins for a 1520 you can buy, or upload your own. I was wondering, seeing as though they dont have it for a Vostro 1500, would the 1520 one fit just fine?
Anyone have any experience with them? Will they ship to the UK also?
Cheers guys!

The new Inspiron and Vostro lineup are pretty much identical, only key differences, are the software configuration, teach support and the name and color and the computer.
Should work fine..
But yea thanx for showing me this, this is awesome, I was looking for a way to 'mod' my laptop a bit to make it pop out from the crowed this is likely to save me $300 to airbrush a design on -
i was looking at this site last night too. i like the cubs jersey and the bears jersey ones. 30 bucks seems a bit much for a 3m vinal sticker that they send through a color printer imo.

There was a thing about skins in another thread. This website was getting them done for $20

Has anyone skinned a Vostro 1500?
It seems that there are textured ridges onteh top cover that he 1520 doesn't have.
I ordered 24"x24" of black carbon fiber automotive vinyl from E-bay. $10 for enough to do two laptops. I can't see why I'd pay some company $20 to cut vinyl for me.
But, I have no idea if the texturing on the Vostro will add complexity and make it come off early, etc.
I'd love to see someone chime in here for the Vostros. -
That first place, http://dell.skinit.com/skins/ , now has Vostro specific skins if anyone cares. I know this thread is old.
