    Dell 1520 Freezing Problem

    I have a Dell Inspiron 1520. Its the one that was given away from carphone warehouse (not great but I only bought it for £40). Now I have installed XP professional but it freezes randomly during use. I've found that I can resolve this by disabling the media card slot and firewire (they are together in BIOS). However it would be nice to get them working so I wondered if anybody knew what the problem was.
