Dell 15 7000 4K display, anyone experience lag?

Hi guys, so I got the 4k display with the AMD chip. I love the laptop, however at the 4K resolution, I'm experiencing lag while even browsing websites on chrome on multiple tabs. The scrolling is extremely choppy and laggy. Even typing this it has a delay in the typing. When i close tabs it lags too. It's the i7 model with the AMD r7 270 so I'm not sure why I'm experiencing this.

-EDIT actually, I'm seeing 100% CPU usage from just 6 powerpoint slides (sets), word document, pdf document, netflix on one window, and a couple tabs on another window. Is this too much for this laptop at 4K?

 

okay i turned the powerpoints, pdf, off and it still says 100%.

 

How is your virtual memory doing? Have you loaded a bunch of things on there? Perhaps a Trojan got into your system?

Try turning down the resolution to 1080p (1920x1080), and see if that makes a difference. Also, have you updated or changed any drivers lately?

Try using other browsers and see if this issue still persists (in addition to what some of the previous posts have suggested)
