    Dell 14z upgrading to 900p screen from ebay because my old 720p one died?

    Can I drop a new 900p screen into my Dell 14z since my old one died?

    Factory shipped one is a 720p model, can I just plug and play the higher resolution one? Anyone ever done this?

    The seller on ebay says that I have to match the resolution with the one I am replacing but I would love to have the 900p screen instead.

    ahhhhhh did not know they do not have inverters. No wonder, I was looking for the inverter yesterday but could not find it.

    Just ordered that screen on ebay. Thanks for the advice. I'll update if it works or not when the screen gets here so others in the future don't run into the same problem.

    I was wondering how it went as I have the 14z with the 720p screen and I HATE the screen. Thankyou for any information.
