I've owned my 1420 for about a month now, and today when I booted, I was greeted with a friendly message.
After reading some horror posts about batteries dying, I'm wondering I'll I too will soon their ranks.
Any idea wth is going on? I checked if everything was plugged in, and it was. Turned the main power supply off/on, and still, I have this message.
I also ran onboard diagnostics, but it didn't do much. It just basically tested out the CPU, HDD, RAM, etc. No mention of battery whatsoever.
Any help is accepted.

Your AC adapter might be dying, not your battery.

Problem is definitely your AC Adapter, call tech support and they'll replace it
