Hey guys, I need some help.

So I got my Dell 1420 from the website about 2 months ago. This whole time I had it, my SD/memory card slot hasn't been working. I've been talking to the dell customer service for troubleshooting and so far no advice has helped me. The whole ordeal was quite frustrating. But thats not the reason why I'm writing to you good people.

SO like an hour ago a cup fell from my cupboard and landed on my laptop LCD. NOT GOOD. Sure enough, my screen is cracked and broken. Am I under warranty at all? Am I covered? What do I do? I'm so upset and scared.

Help? thanks for taking time out of your day to read this.

If you got the warranty that covers accidents you should be okay. If not it would be difficult to explain it happened under normal conditions but you can try. If they don't you should be able to replace it at a reasonable cost. Check around for prices. You will be okay. :)
