First, I love my 1520. I am not posting to complain. Here is my question.
I can't tell if the light is playing with my vision or not but sometimes it looks like the VERY LOWER right hand corner is just a tad darker than the rest of the screen. Just about a half to quarter of an inch seems to be darker. I have tried several pics to test and I just can't tell. I was wondering if anyone else has checked their laptop for this?

    Thanks for your time!

I haven't noticed anything like this on my 1420 but when I got my 2405fpw for my XPS 410 I did notice when it was brand new some uneven backlighting. However this went away with use.

Have you tried putting an all-black screen on and then turning out all the lights in your room?

This will help you see if there is any back-light bleed, which may be causing your problem.

I will try this tonight. Thanks so much. If it does turn out to be back light bleed, what can be done to fix this?

    Thanks,

You can't fix it yourself because it is a defect in the screen. Dell will have to replace the screen.
