    Hey guys,
Right now dell only has the 12" with a webcam, and to tell you the truth the webcam kinda sticks out on top as opposed to be intergrated into the frame.
Does anyone know of dell has new model laptops comming out with intergrated webcams?

Ya, all Dell laptops should come with built in mic and Webcam as standard at no extra cost. These are now essential part of the computer.

Well it goes with the chatting, and these days a lot of people do chatting. You see even cell phones have text messaging, phone/video feature.
Home users, gamers use it. Students use it. Tech companies use chat programs on intranets and to co-ordinate with teams at different locations.
Basically chat+webcam is replacing phone conferencing.

You don't need a webcam now but might find a need to use it sometime in future.

I don't own a webcam either, but some of my friends own it and they use it when chatting/talking with their families in their home countries.

I know what its for, but its hardly an essential item, surely not a deal breaker, and you can pick up an external one for 15 bucks if you really need one
